The Half Scale Chantilly - Day 7

And then there was the roof....

Dude, this attic/roof thingy is a bitch to put in place...
I needed like 7 hands, and I had to re-glue three times.
But it is almost done, and Tracy from Minis on the Edge was definitely right: you DO have to paper the roof's interior first. No space to put your hand in. Maybe in the 1:12 scale you can wallpaper afterwards, but the half scale is tiny!
Pictures time!

Next: finish the roof then the bay window/porch thingy... I'm going to be bashing that hard!

The Half Scale Chantilly - Day 5

HELLO, HELLO

ARGH! I'm melting!!!! This heat wave is killing me....
In other news, the upstairs new wall was made of with the cut off of right side of the attic floor.. Did I get that right?. o.O
That sucker was hard to hold in place 'till the wood glue was dried enough. 2 medium quick grip and 3 hands ( mom was kind and helped me)
Pictures:

Next step, ceiling-paper and wall-paper. then it's to next door : THE BEDROOM!!!
Oh, and this Chantilly was named " The Lilac Cottage".
Cheers!
