The Brimbles Mercantile - Days 24 and 25
HI, Guys!
I have done a lot this last two days of work!
I finished the porch:
and then I bought a paper punch and some cardpaper so I could make some paper shingles.
I choose the color red for the shingles and it did end up great, if I may say so.
Now I need to add the final trimmings and make the shoppe plaque. "Bits and Bobs"!!!!

The Brimbles Mercantile - Day 23
Hello, again!
Another productive day!
The front door and porch floor are done and I'm now waiting for the front step to dry. The exterior will be done tomorrow or Tuesday at the latest.
Shingles will be coming next! Aeh...

The Brimbles Mercantile - Days 21 and 22
Hi, hello!
It's true I hit the 40s... duuuude... The 30s flashed before me eyes and puff, gone!
But 'tis okay!! No harm done!
In other news:
The Brimbles: The siding on the front and the back are done. I added the dormers' roofs and then big roof... It was hard and things had to be 'gently' push in their places... bitches..
Tomorrow morning I'll be gluing the front doors in place (I painted them tonight - A BEAUTIFUL PLUM COLOR!!! - and they're drying right now) and I'll also start to make the shingles. Oh and I'll be gluing the front porch floor too!

The Brimbles Mercantile - Days 16 to 20
Hello, People!
Carnival days off have come and go... Unfortunate.. snif snif...
But it was very productive time spend at the Brimbles..
I finished 'siding' the lower half of the front and the porch was glued in place. I just notice I still need to add the door... I'm always forgetting the doors...
The roof porch was glued in place too. Still not sure what kind of shingle to use... ARGH CHOICES!!!
Now I'm cutting the sidings for the upper half of the front. booooring work but necessary.

The Brimbles Mercantile - Days 14 and 15
Hy everyone!
Carnaval is on here in Brazil so I got 4 days off!
I worked a lot yesterday and today.
First I added the interior trimmings to the front windows then I decide to use the very thin stick from the cheap bamboo curtain as siding and not to pat myself in the back but it end up good!
Pictures:
I'm going to paint the porch tomorrow and after gluing it in place I'll be able to add the siding on the front.
Next is the roof! I'm thinking rectangular shingles... maybe...
