McKinley dollhouse - week...Thirty five..ish...

Hi Y'all

Long time, I know...

I spend all this time painting the furniture and postponing the porch assembly...
But I'm back in saddle... so to speak.
I'm half way through the porch thingy:

As you can see I only need the middle column and I'm finish it!
The furniture I have are all painted but I still need a toilet, a stove/oven and sofas/couches.
All it's left is some decorations thingies and Voilá! The McK girl will be done, AT LAST!!!

Cutie pie dollhouse now called Precious Dollhouse!

Wow 2 post in one day...

The Cutie pie dollhouse is done and ready to move in... And I renamed her Precious!

The furniture I have is too big for this dollhouse so this beauty is going to stay empty for a while:

The color is called 'yellow skin' but for me looks 'peachy' go figure!

McKinley dollhouse - week Thirty Four

Hi,

o.O  The 34th week lasted over a month 'cause I was very bored and I decided spend my time reading some books...

But this last 3 days I finished the doors trimmings. Not perfect and the white 'filling' is kind of bizarre, but what ever!

I also started painting and 'shining' the porch pieces and the front door.... Let's hope I can finish this soon.
And I still need to 'glass' the tower windows and glue the tower roof in place.

Hi, everyone!

Easter holiday and the laziness hit hard but I finished putting the 'glass' in the kitchen bay window... Now I'm measuring, cutting, sanding and painting the doors trimmings.

I choose a opaque 'glass' for the kitchen:

And I'm painting the cutie pie dollhouse a peachy color with white floors and grey chimney...

Hi everyone!

Sorry no pictures.
Remember when I said I painted my cutie pie dollhouse gray? When that paint dried... it look dreadful so I washed the paint away... don't ask .... and now I'm going to paint some other color. I haven't decided yet, maybe green?

The McK is sitting there waiting for her trimmings. But the bay window 'glass' was cut, I promise!

And I'm making plans and researching the Fairfield/Willowcrest/Brockwood dollhouses.

In other news...

Hi everyone

Long time, no see

I haven't been working on the McK 'cause I got very lazy this last weeks...

Tonight I'll be cutting the 'glass' for the kitchen bay windows, adding the trimmings in the tower half-bath windows and then I'll be gluing the porch in place. I think with this done I'll be finished with the building part of the McK. Furnishing and decorating will be done a later date.

In other news, I got a little cutie pie dollhouse and this last weekend I painted inside and out a shade of gray... No pun intended.... ;D
It's made of MDF, and I put it together with regular white glue.
Here she is in her original 'colors':

I'll post pictures of the painted version tonight.

Oh almost forgot! I got a Lalaloopsy from my Mom!
