I am building the Fairfield (my first dollhouse), and your blog has been helpful so far! I'm curious about wallpapering. How difficult was it to wallpaper after the rooms are put together? Is it possible to wallpaper before assembling the house? I read that it can be tricky because of the way the pieces line up, but I find it very tempting to wallpaper before assembly! I would be interested to hear your thoughts.
Hi Elizabeth, I'm happy to know that my blog could help you. I took lots of measures before cutting the wallpaper but it was not hard to do it after assembling. I think that if you have small/thin hands is becomes easier. But you can wallpaper before too,. There a blog where the Fairfield - moreminis.blogspot.com.br - was papered during building. My advice is to measure some templates before cutting so you don't waste wallpaper. Good luck!
