McKinley dollhouse - week Twenty-Two

Hello, hello!

Trimming time begins!

Baseboards in the master bedroom:

And in the dining/living room:

I know it's not perfect but for a first timer... not too shabby!

The hallway is drying at the moment, so pictures later...
I have - FINALLY -  decided on the wallpaper in the attic bedroom. ;D. But I'm still measuring the thing out.
I'm going to get the tiles for the half-bath in the attic this week and I already started sanding the new wood shingles I made with tongue depressor sticks. The six million shingles... aeh...

I want to add molding (?) to the rooms but I don't know what color to use. Should I paint them white OR should I let 'wood' natural like the baseboards?

ARGH DECISIONS! I DON'T LIKE THEM!

Later!
;D Cheers!

    1. Thank you Maria... So what do you think? White molding or 'wood like' molding?

  3. I love the McKinley, had to be a creep and look from week one to this week! I'm not thinking that my not bashed attic needs a bigger room...my mini family won't be able to wash clothes! And I need something to do while I finish the kitchen floor with skinny sticks..
By the way what kind of wood did you use to make the kitchen sink?

    1. Hi, Darah, Blogging made me a stalker for more than 300 people, so I have no room to say anything. :D

I used 3 little boxes of MDF glued together to make the sink. The rods are toothpicks.
      Cheers!

  4. The baseboards (we call them skirting boards here in Australia) look terrific. You did a great job of them and of the flooring too.
